What You'll Do:
- Develop and deliver individualized, evidence-based Physical Therapy treatment plans to support the functional goals of diverse resident populationsEvaluate and screen residents to determine therapy needs, exercising strong clinical judgment throughout treatment planning and follow-up
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality resident care and optimal outcomes
- Educate and train residents, families, and caregivers to promote continuity of care and long-term success
- Provide supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants and maintain timely, accurate, and defensible clinical documentation
- Ensure full compliance with facility policies and all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety, infection control, and billing standards
What You'll Need:
- Master’s Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (required)
- Current Massachusetts state licensure (required)
- Experience with short-term rehabilitation and geriatrics (required)
- Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects, equipment and/or residents (required)
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend or crouch regularly (required)
- Must be able to use hands to manipulate tools, equipment, or controls (required)
- Must have visual and hearing acuity sufficient enough to assess resident safety and ability (required)
- ATP certification through RESNA or interest in obtaining ATP certification (preferred)
- Experience with, or interest in, high-tech assistive technologies (preferred)
