What You'll Do:

Develop and deliver individualized, evidence-based Physical Therapy treatment plans to support the functional goals of diverse resident populationsEvaluate and screen residents to determine therapy needs, exercising strong clinical judgment throughout treatment planning and follow-up
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality resident care and optimal outcomes
Educate and train residents, families, and caregivers to promote continuity of care and long-term success
Provide supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants and maintain timely, accurate, and defensible clinical documentation
Ensure full compliance with facility policies and all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety, infection control, and billing standards

What You'll Need:

Master’s Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (required)
Current Massachusetts state licensure (required)
Experience with short-term rehabilitation and geriatrics (required)
Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects, equipment and/or residents (required)
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend or crouch regularly (required)
Must be able to use hands to manipulate tools, equipment, or controls (required)
Must have visual and hearing acuity sufficient enough to assess resident safety and ability (required)
ATP certification through RESNA or interest in obtaining ATP certification (preferred)
Experience with, or interest in, high-tech assistive technologies (preferred)
