What You'll Do:
- Prepare and serve breakfast in accordance with the Kosher menu, accommodating dietary restrictions and texture modifications.
- Assist with meal service and clean-up, ensuring residents have a safe and pleasant dining experience.
- Provide companionship to residents through conversation, activities, and transportation support.
- Monitor residents for safety or medical concerns and promptly alert nursing staff as needed.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
- Previous experience in food preparation and/or working with the elderly preferred.
- Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs independently and up to 50 lbs with assistance; able to push and pull objects as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, visitors, staff, and external agencies.
